…there’s no such thing as Flickr Pro, because today, with cameras as pervasive as they are, there is no such thing really as professional photographers, when there’s everything is professional photographers. Certainly there is varying levels of skills, but we didn’t want to have a Flickr Pro anymore, we wanted everyone to have professional quality photos, space, and sharing.” – Marissa Mayer, Yahoo Event, May 2013
Congratulations, Marissa Mayer!
For such a short period of time, you successfully pissed off your two major platforms - Tumblr and Flickr*.
An incredibly ignorant insult to all photographers.
*not to mention that exactly those professional photographers were the ones pouring money into your pocket through Flickr Pro subscribtions, but you managed to fuck this up as well.
Our rabbit eating freshly picked dandelions. Nevermind the giggling, it was hard to keep down. :3
Thanks to all my 666 worshipers! You’ve been great and you will get a special place once your mission on Earth is done.
I really like it when I wake up, head to the kitchen to make some tea, and see the flag waving through the window.
Apparently this is spreading like wildfire on Tumblr once again, so why not self-reblog.
Enjoy a Finnish flag waving from your dash!
Q:I studied biochemical engineering some time ago (I'm 32) and I've ended up making improvement projects I'm Coca-Cola. I'm also a closet artist, the problem is that I do everything and nothing at the same time.
Wow, Anon, I wish I could study biochemical engineering!
Where can your artworks be seen?
I normally have some serious problems with motivation, but I end up doing everything and nothing at the same time too. Best advice would be to browse more art [like 500px for example] and get inspired to do something. It’s what usually gets me out of stand-stills. It doesn’t always work, but it’s the best option.
If there’s no success, take a nap or call it a day.
